STILA EYES ARE THE WINDOW SOUL PALETTE TUTORIAL

On Sunday I reviewed Stilas Eyes Are The Window SOUL palette and today I will be showing you how to create this simple eyeshadow look using the palette.
Firstly I applied the shades 'heart' and 'individual' onto my lid. The shade individual was too warm so I added heat to make the overall look be more cool toned. I used a small dense brush to do this.
I then applied the shade 'being' into the outer third of my eye using a blending brush.
I then applied the shade being under my eye and also added the shade kitten under my eye towards the inner corner of the eye.
I then added winged liner and mascara. My eyeliner went wrong so just ignore that. I didn't use fake lashes because I wanted to create a more natural everyday look.

STILA EYES ARE THE WINDOW SOUL PALETTE REVIEW

Around a week ago I reviewed the Stila Eyes Are The Window SPIRIT palette review and tutorial and today I will be reviewing Stila's other palette in the shade SOUL. Both the palettes packaging are very similar, so I will only briefly go into detail with the packaging for this palette. The palette has beautiful simple rose gold packaging with three 'S' engraved into it. It has a huge mirror in it which is always useful when doing your makeup and travelling etc. The palette has twelve shades containing mainly warm browns and muted pinks, the palette includes 4 matte shadows and the other 8 contain shimmer. Like spirit, the palette comes with a plastic sheet with a quote on saying "Since love grows within you, so beauty grow. For love is the beauty of the soul." -Saint Augustine. The shade names are on the back of the palette which I prefer then the shades being on a plastic sheet. I will be posting a easy tutorial using this palette on Wednesday. In the UK you can purchase this at M&S and some boots, also online.

Thankyou for reading.

STILA EYES ARE THE WINDOW SPIRIT PALETTE TUTORIAL

On Wednesday I reviewed Stila Eyes Are The Window SPIRIT Palette and today I have created a look just using this palette. The palette comes with a leaflet containing three different looks but I thought I would create another look. I wish the palette had more matte shadows because I prefer them in the crease but you could easily buy different shadows but I wanted to only use this palette for the purpose of this post. Incase you was wondering I used the Freedom brow pomade in dark brown and the Maybelline age rewind concealer which I don't really like because I find it quite heavy compared to my M.A.C pro longwear in NW15 (my favourite concealer)!
Firstly I applied the shade Jezebel into my crease, this is a peachy shimmery shade. I blended it up to my brow bone, mixing it into the shade chinois, which is a matte white. I used a fluffy blending brush to do this.
Next I added the shade pigalle which is a soft berry red. I used a smaller blending brush to do this.
Next I added the black into the outer section of my eye using a dense precision brush. To do this I used the shade espresso. On the rest of my lid and inner corner I used the shade kitten which is a rose gold shimmery eyeshadow. You can buy this individually as it is one of Stila's most popular shadows.
I then bring the dark shade under my eye.
To finish the look I cleaned the outer corner of my eye, applied winged eyeliner mascara and individual lashes.
I really like how this look turned out, I hope you enjoyed!

STILA EYES ARE THE WINDOW SPIRIT PALETTE REVIEW

Today I'll be reviewing Stila's eyes are the window palette in sprit, I have also reviewed their palette in Soul which I will post soon! The palette mainly has shimmery shadows but there are around 4 matte shades. It comes in blue packaging, if your looking for it in the shops check the top to find what shade the palette is as they are packaged exactly the same. The lid is rose gold and the back has the shade names which I prefer to them being on a plastic sheet. It comes with a plastic sheet saying "Where the spirit does not work with the hand, there is no art", which is a quote by Leonardo de Vinci. The palette has twelve eyeshadows including a mixture of neutrals, blues and browns. I have created a look with this palette which Im going to post on the 17th (Sunday). I really like the quality and pigmentation of the shadows and I really recommend this palette, on the 24th I will be reviewing their eyes are the window palette in soul and then doing a look using that so you can chose which one you want. This palette costs £30. In the UK you can get it online here it is also sold at some M&S stores and some Boots.

MAKEUP DUPES

I have a few items where I have the product AND its dupe but I also have a lot of products dupes and not the actual product it is a dupe of. I'll be linking loads of dupes I know even if I don't own them, that makes no sense what so ever!

Firstly I have the Urban Decay blush in Fetish and the Loreal true match blush in the shade Rosewood. The urban decay blush is totally matte and the Loreal blush has a tiny bit of glitter in it but you cannot notice this on the skin. Rosewood looks quite peachy in the photo but in real life it is very similar to Fetish. The Urban Decay blush is around £19 whereas the Loreal blush is £6.99 and I think they are very similar .
On the bottom is the Loreal Shade and on the top is the Urban Decay Blush. (I don't know why my hand looks so orange in this)
Next I have the Betty Luminizer by the Balm and Freedom Pro Blush Palette. These shades are practically identical, however I find the Freedom shade is quite chalky. The Betty luminzer is around £17 and the Freedom Blush palette is only £6 and you get eight different shades!
On top is the Betty-Lou Manizer and on the bottom is the Freedom shade.
Now I have 2 MAC lipstick dupes for the shades Honey Love and Velvet Teddy. The dupe for Honey Love is the Rimmel Kate Moss Nude Lipstick in the shade 42.

For Velvet Teddy the dupe is the KIKO Velvet Matte Satin Lipstick in the shade 601 Nude Rose.

So these are all the dupes I have, below Im going to list loads of different dupes I know but may not have both or any of the products in my collection. Again that probably makes no sense...

And that's all the dupes I can think of, thankyou so much for reading this I know it didn't really make sense, probably because Im writing this at 1am in the morning. However, I hope this was useful in some way and can help you save some money!

AFFORDABLE COOL GREY & WARM BROWN MAKEUP TUTORIAL

Last week I went to see The Vamps in concert and I really liked my eyeshadow look so I thought I would recreate it today. I used VERY affordable products to achieve this look so anyone can recreate it! Sorry there aren't loads of pictures but it is a really simple look to do. My favourite posts are my eye makeup tutorials so I'm hoping to do a lot more in the future. <3 p="">
Firstly I applied  a warm orange shadow into my crease using a fluffy brush making sure it is blended. Next, I applied a cool grey shadow all over my lid, I applied the Freedom fixing spray to my brush first so the grey shadow has a better colour pay off. Don't worry how far over you blend the shadows as you'll be cleaning it up after.
Next I applied the grey shadow underneath my eye. I also cleaned up the edge of the shadow. I added the Makeup Revolution foiled eyeshadow in rose gold in my inner corners, to open up my eyes.
To finish the look off, I applied winged eyeliner to my lash line and kohl eyeliner to my lower and upper water line. I also curled my lashes and applied mascara and individual lashes. I added a bit of liquid liner to my water line to make me eyes appear more elongated .
I know this was a really simple look but I liked how it turned out. I mainly used shadows from the Freedom Pro 32 Innocent collection palette . Thankyou for reading this post, please subscribe to receive emails whenever I post, which is on Sundays and sometimes on Wednesdays. Also follow my bloglovin account to read my posts there. I really appreciate it.
