I HEART MAKEUP BLUSHING HEARTS TRIPLE BAKED BLUSHER REVIEW

Today I'll be reviewing I heart makeup blushing hearts triple baked blusher. I have wanted to try some of I heart makeups products for a while, as I really like Makeup Revolution's products and I believe they are made by the same people. I have really wanted to try their boxed powders and chocolate bar palette (both Two Faced dupes) for a while but they never have them in stock. I heart makeup has quite a few boxed powders but I chose this one because I thought It had a few rose gold shades which I think suit me best. The blusher is not matte which I didn't think I would like but I think its quite pretty, especially for the summer, Also I find I don't need to use highlighter if I don't want to because the blusher gives the same effect. I find the blushers last for the majority of the day but Its difficult to tell because my cheeks go naturally red throughout the day!

The product is split into three sections. The smallest segment is a bright pink, with blue undertones, I personally don't like this shade as much as the others because it is so bright, but I find when I mix the three shades together it creates a really pretty colour on my cheeks. The second colour is a lot more peachy, It is quite similar to the last shade but lighter. I often just mix these two shades and apply it to my cheeks with a stippling brush, as it doesn't apply much product.

Here are the swatches;  The top one is a mix of all three, and the shade next to it is the brightest pink,

MY EVERYDAY MAKEUP

Today I'll be showing you what I'm putting on my face most days. I won't be going through everything, as there is so much, but I will link it all below if it is not mentioned.

Firstly I have the Barry M Brow Kit, I only got this recently but I really like it. It comes with a dark brown cool shadow, a white and a brow gel. I don't really use the gel because I like my Maybelline brow gel, which I now realise I forgot to include in the pictures,  but I do use the brown shadow everyday. Although It isn't really needed because every brown eye shadow would work. I like my Freedom brow pomade when I want a really strong brow but I like this for a more natural look. It also comes with tweezers and a double sided brow brush. I don't like the tweezers, they are too stiff and I find are basically impossible to use.

Next I have Tanya Burr's Hollywood eyes palette, I don't use this everyday because I like to change up my eyeshadow look. If I'm not using this then I'll probably be using kitten by Stila. But I really do like this palette it contains 4 shades, three are mainly matte and enchantment consists of mainly glitter. The palette is warm based and I think it suits everybody. I find the eyeshadows are quite powdery but they don't fall out onto your face, It only means you use up more product.

Lastly I have the Kiko white eyeliner which I really like because it stays on all day and it's so affordable! I like to put this in my waterline as it really opens my eyes. Kiko also do a nude eyeliner like this which has the same effect but is a bit more subtle.

Here are all the products I use on my face:

Sorry this post is up late, I can't get my internet to work, I still can't now  so once I fix it I'll put in all the links to the products I use! Thank you for reading Xx

MY FAVOURITE AFFORDABLE FOUNDATIONS

Today I will going through my favourite affordable foundations. I feel like foundations are such a personal thing, a product could be very popular and then you buy it and it doesn't work with your skin. Some people are lucky enough for their skin to not react with any foundations, but others, the majority, go through so many foundations just to find one perfect for them.

Rimmel Match Perfection I only got this recently, but I have quickly become in love with it. It gives a medium coverage, but it is buildable. The foundation claims to blend with natural skin tone, rather than masking it. It also claims to reduce the size of pores, which I definitely agree with. I always apply the Nivea Post Shave Balm as a primer, which doesn't reduce pore size, which other primers often do, so I know it is the foundations formula. It comes in 12 different shades, ranging from light to dark, so hopefully there is a shade for all skin tones. I am in shade 103 true ivory, which is one of the lightest shade and I am fairly pale.

Loreal Paris Infallible Matte For about three months this was the foundation I had on everyday. It is the best affordable foundation I have found to actually stay on all day while staying matte, However, there are only 6 shades, which is fine for most, but for darker skin tones there is no appropriate shade. I have to mix the shade Ivory and Sand to get my skin tone. I have found it to be a bit cakey on the skin, But it is the only foundation that stays on my skin all day so this doesn't really bother me too much.

Bourjois Healthy Mix I really like this foundation, It claims to last 16 hours which I haven't tested but It definitely lasts for a long time. It is meant to give a healthy glow to the skin without appearing oily, which I also agree with. Again there isn't a large shade range, so it's not great for darker skin tones. I like this foundation because It gives medium coverage but looks invisible on the skin. I am in the shade Light Vanilla, which suits me perfectly.

Loreal True Match I only got this recently and I think it's perfect for people who like a dewy finish for their foundation. Personally I found by the end of the day I looked too shiny and I needed to keep applying powder. However, I know many people like a dewy finish so I thought I would include this in my favourite affordable foundations. Also it comes in 23 shades so is perfect for all skin tones and looks almost invisible on the skin!

ROSE GOLD LINER EYE MAKEUP TUTORIAL

I recently saw a picture on Anastaia Beverly Hills instagram account of a makeup look someone has created (you can see it here), I thought it was so pretty and had to recreate it. My recreation was nowhere near as good as her's but I think that was due to the rose gold foiled eyeshadow I used, I think the girl used Dirty Talk by Colour Pop, a crème gel colour pot. But in England you cannot buy Colour Pop so I could only use what I had.
Firstly I applied the Urban Decay primer potion for my base.
I then applied Kiko's Infinity shadows in the shade 210, into the crease of my eye and the outer third of my eyelid.
I then applied my black liner, I used the Maybelline master precise.
Lastly I applied the rose gold eyeshadow just above the black liner. I found this difficult to do because the chunks of glitter in the eyeshadow were quite big and it was difficult to have a smooth line. I also applied mascara to my top and bottom lashes, I used the telescopic mascara by Loreal. I used eyelure's individual lashes to finish the look.
Thankyou for reading, It wasn't a very difficult tutorial but I thought it was a really pretty look that I wanted to recreate.

LOREAL PARIS COLOUR RICHE LA PALETTE IN NUDE REVIEW

I feel like I haven't wrote a post in ages because my last four of five were scheduled to go up weeks ago. Anyway, today I am reviewing Loreal's lip palette in the shade NUDE, the palette contains six shades and a small lip brush. Each contains 1g of product which is obviously a lot less than normal lipsticks. However, If there is one shade you love and run out of, you would have to buy the whole palette again, which costs £12.99, so you might as well buy a mac lipstick which is similar to the shade.

The first shade is the lightest of the six, It can be worn everyday for a subtle look. The next two are peachy shades, the first has a pink undertone whereas the second has an orange undertone. The fourth shade is a dark pink, the fifth is a darker version of the first shade. And the last shade is a dark brown, I would compare it to Velvet Teddy by MAC.

I would say the shades have don't have a matte finish but I find throughout the day they can be quite drying.

Thankyou for reading, I hope you found this useful.

STILA EYES ARE THE WINDOW SPIRIT PALETTE TUTORIAL

On Wednesday I reviewed Stila Eyes Are The Window SPIRIT Palette and today I have created a look just using this palette. The palette comes with a leaflet containing three different looks but I thought I would create another look. I wish the palette had more matte shadows because I prefer them in the crease but you could easily buy different shadows but I wanted to only use this palette for the purpose of this post. Incase you was wondering I used the Freedom brow pomade in dark brown and the Maybelline age rewind concealer which I don't really like because I find it quite heavy compared to my M.A.C pro longwear in NW15 (my favourite concealer)!
Firstly I applied the shade Jezebel into my crease, this is a peachy shimmery shade. I blended it up to my brow bone, mixing it into the shade chinois, which is a matte white. I used a fluffy blending brush to do this.
Next I added the shade pigalle which is a soft berry red. I used a smaller blending brush to do this.
Next I added the black into the outer section of my eye using a dense precision brush. To do this I used the shade espresso. On the rest of my lid and inner corner I used the shade kitten which is a rose gold shimmery eyeshadow. You can buy this individually as it is one of Stila's most popular shadows.
I then bring the dark shade under my eye.
To finish the look I cleaned the outer corner of my eye, applied winged eyeliner mascara and individual lashes.
I really like how this look turned out, I hope you enjoyed!

STILA EYES ARE THE WINDOW SPIRIT PALETTE REVIEW

Today I'll be reviewing Stila's eyes are the window palette in sprit, I have also reviewed their palette in Soul which I will post soon! The palette mainly has shimmery shadows but there are around 4 matte shades. It comes in blue packaging, if your looking for it in the shops check the top to find what shade the palette is as they are packaged exactly the same. The lid is rose gold and the back has the shade names which I prefer to them being on a plastic sheet. It comes with a plastic sheet saying "Where the spirit does not work with the hand, there is no art", which is a quote by Leonardo de Vinci. The palette has twelve eyeshadows including a mixture of neutrals, blues and browns. I have created a look with this palette which Im going to post on the 17th (Sunday). I really like the quality and pigmentation of the shadows and I really recommend this palette, on the 24th I will be reviewing their eyes are the window palette in soul and then doing a look using that so you can chose which one you want. This palette costs £30. In the UK you can get it online here it is also sold at some M&S stores and some Boots.

AFFORDABLE COOL GREY & WARM BROWN MAKEUP TUTORIAL

Last week I went to see The Vamps in concert and I really liked my eyeshadow look so I thought I would recreate it today. I used VERY affordable products to achieve this look so anyone can recreate it! Sorry there aren't loads of pictures but it is a really simple look to do. My favourite posts are my eye makeup tutorials so I'm hoping to do a lot more in the future. <3 p="">
Firstly I applied  a warm orange shadow into my crease using a fluffy brush making sure it is blended. Next, I applied a cool grey shadow all over my lid, I applied the Freedom fixing spray to my brush first so the grey shadow has a better colour pay off. Don't worry how far over you blend the shadows as you'll be cleaning it up after.
Next I applied the grey shadow underneath my eye. I also cleaned up the edge of the shadow. I added the Makeup Revolution foiled eyeshadow in rose gold in my inner corners, to open up my eyes.
To finish the look off, I applied winged eyeliner to my lash line and kohl eyeliner to my lower and upper water line. I also curled my lashes and applied mascara and individual lashes. I added a bit of liquid liner to my water line to make me eyes appear more elongated .
I know this was a really simple look but I liked how it turned out. I mainly used shadows from the Freedom Pro 32 Innocent collection palette . Thankyou for reading this post, please subscribe to receive emails whenever I post, which is on Sundays and sometimes on Wednesdays. Also follow my bloglovin account to read my posts there. I really appreciate it.

MARCH FAVOURITES 2016

Today I'll be going through a few of the things I have been loving throughout March.
My first favourite is the Nivea Men Sensitive Post Shave Balm I brought this because NikkiTutorials on youtube always talks about this. It is known for keeping your makeup on for a long time. I was using the primer that goes with the Loreal Infalliable Matte foundation, which is my favourite foundation ever, and I found it was smoothing my skin but it was shortening the longevity of my foundation. At school my foundation never stays on for very long because im always resting my hand on my face but this seems to keep it on pretty good, this is because the primer contains glycerin which is what primers include to keep makeup on. I find the longer you rub it in the more 'sticky' your skin is which helps your foundation stay. This foundation is very cheap considering how much product you get, at boots it is £5.35.
Next I have my MAC lipstick in the shade 'Pink Plaid', this is a matte finish lipstick. I like to just dab this all over my lips so they are just tinted pink. When I went up to London I went to the MAC section in selfridges I was looking at all the lipsticks and I kept picking this one up so I knew I wanted it. MAC lipsticks are £15.50 which aren't that bad for the quality compared to brands like Charlotte Tilbury. A dupe for this lipstick is the Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick in the shade 102, I think Rimmel lipsticks are one of the best from the drugstore, I find this lipstick lasts as long as my MAC one and the colours are practically identical.
On the left is my MAC lipstick and on the right is the Rimmel one,
Next I have the Garnier Summer Body gradual tan in the shade deep. I have probably been using this for about a year now. In England it is basically impossible to get a noticeable tan and I think sometimes I look too pale. A lot of the time I can't be bothered to apply moisturiser to my body but I find because applying this will make me look more tanned I actually moisturise. This is always on sale so I would pick it up when its cheaper but it's original price for the 400ml bottle(you can also get the 250ml bottle) is £7.79 but currently it is £3.89.
Next, I have the Clinique Blushing Blush in the shade Innocent Peach. This is a beautiful peachy coral colour. I recently brought an Urban Decay blush in the shade Fetish which is really pretty but I think It doesn't give me a lot of colour and I think peachier shades complement me better. These cost £22 but I think it is worth the money as they last all day and look very natural.
Lastly I have the Eyelure individual lashes these cost £5.39 but I got them for around £2 in superdrug. I find normal false eyelashes very hard to apply but these are so easy! I don't like the glue they come with I prefer the glue from there normal lashes. I don't really have much to say about these but I just really like them.
Thankyou for reading this post, I didn't go into detail about all of my favourites as I had so many and this post was already long enough but I have also been loving my bareminerals kohl eyeliner and my Lancome Grandiose Mascara. Please subscribe to be notified through email when I post and follow me on bloglovin.

MAKEUP WISHLIST

With there constantly being new products out on the market I always have a long list of makeup I would love to buy. However, makeup can be very expensive so I cant afford/justify buying high end makeup very often. I thought creating a list would be useful so I only buy things I really want. Also it may be useful if you have a birthday or another special occasion coming up and you don't know what to ask for. Also its fun for me just to look through different makeup products, even though I won't actually buy any of them.

AFFORDABLE BRUSHES REVIEW| LAMORA 10 PIECE BRUSH SET

For Christmas I received a £30 amazon gift card and originally I was going to buy loads of American drugstore makeup (milani, physicians formula etc.) but I was in need of new brushes because I barely had any and brushes are so expensive so I thought it was better to spend my money on brushes as I already have loads of makeup. On amazon there are so many unheard of brands with the exact same brushes so it was hard to choose which ones I wanted to buy. These particular brushes were down from £99.90 to just £24.95!!! To be honest when I ordered them I wasn't expecting them to be that great as they are so cheap considering your getting ten brushes. I believe this set of brushes is a dupe for the Sigma Kabuki Brush set which is triple the price and that's just for the face set. Lamora brushes have synthetic bristles and are made with a solid wood handle and a copper ferrule. Now I'll go in and describe all the brushes and tell you what I think of them .
Firstly I have the Flat Angled Kabuki brush. I like this one for applying concealer under my eye or applying cream contour. I will also use this if I want to apply loose powder underneath my eye to 'bake'.
Next I have the Flat Kabuki brush. I like this one to apply liquid foundations to my face.
Next I have the Angled Kabuki brush. I love this one to apply my blush but you could also apply bronzer or highlighter with this.
Next I have the Round Kabuki brush. I like this one to apply my bare minerals powder foundation.
Lastly for my face brushes I have the Tapered Kabuki Brush. I rarely use this because I find it removes any product underneath.
Now onto my eye brushes. Firstly I have the Precision Angled brush. I like this to pack eyeshadow onto my lid.
Next I have the Precision Round brush. I like this to apply eyeshadow to my outer corner. It is too dense to blend eyeshadow into the crease but it is good to pack the colour on.
Next I have the precision tapered brush. I like this to apply my inner corner highlight and brow bone highlight.
Lastly I have the Precision Flat and Precision Flat angled brush. I rarely use these two but they would be good to apply a small amount of colour onto the lid.

Thankyou for reading, hope you found it interesting.
