LOREAL PARIS COLOUR RICHE LA PALETTE IN NUDE REVIEW

I feel like I haven't wrote a post in ages because my last four of five were scheduled to go up weeks ago. Anyway, today I am reviewing Loreal's lip palette in the shade NUDE, the palette contains six shades and a small lip brush. Each contains 1g of product which is obviously a lot less than normal lipsticks. However, If there is one shade you love and run out of, you would have to buy the whole palette again, which costs £12.99, so you might as well buy a mac lipstick which is similar to the shade.

The first shade is the lightest of the six, It can be worn everyday for a subtle look. The next two are peachy shades, the first has a pink undertone whereas the second has an orange undertone. The fourth shade is a dark pink, the fifth is a darker version of the first shade. And the last shade is a dark brown, I would compare it to Velvet Teddy by MAC.

I would say the shades have don't have a matte finish but I find throughout the day they can be quite drying.

Thankyou for reading, I hope you found this useful.

    1. thankyou so much for following! I used to be the same, I would rather have six individual lipsticks than a palette, to make my makeup collection look bigger, haha! But I would say the palette is definitely worth it, it works out around £2 a lipstick which is amazing considering the quality, I really want to try Loreals other lip palette containing mainly red shades but I don't think I would use it that much. xx

  3. I was eyeing this the other day at the drugstore but I thought the price was a little too high for me. And like you said, if you run out of your fave shade you'd have to repurchase the whole palette. The shades are gorgeous though, especially the third one from the bottom! Then again I'm not a big fan of applying lipstick with a brush, the pigmentation isn't as good that way.

    1. I agree, when using a brush you have to apply quite alot of product to give the pigmentation you want, leading to the lipstick looking cakey and also its a waste of product, but it is good if you are looking for a subtle hint of colour. Also if you like the third shade there are probably lots of similar colours, so you could just buy that one<3 x

  4. The colours look gorgeous - I love the more brown toned shades. It's a shame they can be drying though.

    1. I know right! They are all so pretty, On me pretty much all lipsticks are drying for some reason, but other people have said they are not drying at all, so i think it depends on your lips xx
